Each year, the Yeshiva participates in the transition event from Memorial Day to Independence Day and in the festive Independence Day prayer with the KSYM community in Buchman, Modi'in.

Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Shenvald delivered a lesson on this year's unique Independence Day, as interpreted by Chazal.

Rabbi Barak from the Yeshiva led the prayer, accompanied by the Yeshiva band, with lively singing and dancing among all community members.

5786 Independence Day celebrations

We began the Independence Day celebrations with a joint festive prayer with the KSYM community in Modi'in.

Afterward, we returned to the Yeshiva for an Independence Day dinner.

The Rosh Yeshiva delivered the annual sermon, following the tradition of his teacher, Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Kook zt"l.

After the meal, students participated in Independence Day activities.

During the day, we also held a festive prayer and musical Hallel at the Yeshiva. After the prayer, the Rosh Yeshiva delivered his customary Independence Day lesson.

The Yeshiva organized a day trip that, this year, concluded with lunch at one of the Yeshiva's abrechs. At the end, the Rosh Yeshiva shared his story of military service during the War of Peace for Galilee (1982), accompanied by a presentation and photos from the war.
