Golani swearing-in ceremony to the IDF
Our dear students who recently joined the Golani brigade
had their swearing-in ceremony to the IDF.
The moving ceremony takes on a new intensity level in days of war.
There is a special symbolism in the swearing-in ceremony
precisely in front of the Western Wall.
We pray that G-d will keep them safe
and their coming and going from now on and forever. |
End of the year for the Hebrew-speaking retirees' Kollel
End of the year for the Hebrew-speaking retirees' Kollel.
This week on Wednesday we finished for this yaer
with the Hebrew-speaking Kollel.
On the last day we heard classes of Adv. Yaron Eliram
Rabbi Shenvald and Shlomo Ben Tzvi.
Rabbi Shenvald said:
We finished a complex year.
In part, we had to change the study format due to the war.
However, we never stopped studying.
I hope that the next year we will be able to study continuously and with a clear mind.
And we hope everyone returns from the summer vacation healthy and safe. |
Preparing for Rosh Chodesh Tammuz
Rosh Chodesh Tammuz is just around the corner (on Shabbat and Sunday)
and as always on Rosh Chodesh,
we hold a special program,
which the students prepare.
The month of Tammuz brings with it the Bein - Hametzarim days
which nowadays, also take on a special meaning
of an existential war the people of Israel are fighting,
against enemies who want to destroy us and our country. |
