The tradition of finishing tractates in the Yeshiva continues.

The Yeshiva students who work hard on their studies try to finish tractates,

and acquire proficiency in Talmud.

Some of them manage to preserve the tradition even when they are in military service.

This week the students of Shiur Alef

held an evening class at the home of one of the class members who lives in Modi'in.

There, three of the students made Siyum Masechet

One of the Yeshiva students who is serving in the paratroopers

also finished the tractate of Baba Metzia as part of the Daf Yomi study.

The Bar Mitzvah Program - Shahak Le'Bnei Mitzvah

As part of the program,

we held an evening of writing Stam and getting familiar with the Tefillin.

The educational and experiential evening

takes place in every cycle of the program with a Sofer Stam,

with the participation of the boys and their parents.

At the end of the evening,

each child writes his name on a piece of parchment,

which is then framed

and given as a present to keep at home..

Unveiling of the tombstone for the late Yitzchak Botbul

image

Last Friday we participated in the commemoration and unveiling of the tombstone

for the late Yitzchak Botbul,

a friend of the Yeshiva,

on his shloshim.

The late Yitzchak became religious in Dallas

and immigrated to Israel with his wife out of great love for Israel.

The Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Shenvald,

eulogized him at his grave

and told about his many years of friendship with the late Yitzchak.

About his love for his family,

his community, and above all his love for the Land of Israel.

May his memory be blessed forever and ever.
